Fertility Herbs

Fertility herbs

There are so many fertility herbs and not all of them will suit everybody. Certain herbs have specific properties so therefore do not always mean they are positive. A herb such as red clover for example has estrogenic aspects and would not be the best option if you were battling an over abundance of estrogen.

Red clover is a highly prized herb when it comes to increasing fertility. You have probably seen red clover by the side of the road and in fields where it is most commonly found. Unlike its name suggests, red clover sports lovely pink blossoms around the middle of summer and will flower well into the fall. You can add a fertility boost to your summer salads by throwing in some red clover blossoms.

Of all the fertility herbs, red clover is one that is thought to help with irregular menstrual cycles, unexplained infertility and even where there is trouble with the fallopian tubes such as scarring. Some women have reported to have fallen pregnant after incorporating at least one cup of infused red clover tea into their daily routine.

Some fertility herbs act quickly on certain aspects of your reproductive health but red clover is not one of them. Like vitex, red clover takes some time to impact on your fertility so implement this as part of a change in your lifestyle and an investment into a fertile future.

I’ve covered off only a handful of the fertility herbs available to help your reproductive health. It can seem overwhelming when faced with lots of choices and not knowing where to begin is a common problem. If you have quite problematic menstrual cycles and or you’re aware of a specific issue with your fertility then consulting a qualified herbalist is essential. If on the other hand you have been given the all clear, there are no obvious health issues and you are still not getting pregnant then you could start with a fertility herbal blend.

Fertility herbs can be found online and at most good health food stores; trying to piece together some sort of regime yourself is difficult though. The best thing you can do is consider the herbal fertility blends that are already optimised for both female and male fertility enhancement. Always purchase recommended products, not just the cheapest brand on the shelf; quality is paramount when it comes to conceiving a child.
